new single from hurry up, snufkin. hurry up snufkin is jordan (gameboy, guitar, vox) and matt (drums)

first snufkin with jordan singing. might do this more, if people like it. these songs are more sad than past ones, but we wanted to make them fun too.

graceful reset is about rediscovering who you are after codependency. it's one of the more introspective pieces i've made w/ gameboy, usually they're maximalist in some way but this one is pretty floaty and tiptoeing. i really like the chord progression though, super proud of that one. expert mode: figure out the anime that this song references :3

hang up gently is about being lonely and online. keysmashing on discord to people you love but have never met. this song has been an instrumental we've played live since waaaaaayyyy back, but it became ready to record after i retooled the structure to make it a stop-start-stop-start format. i think makes it sound pretty mysterious and exciting. it's also 4:20 long.

gameboy is a dmg running lsdj, tracked in ableton. guitars are DI using guitar rig 5 amp sims.
